After a four year break from theatre, Bretanne is happy to be back on stage! She gained experience from her college and high school theatre days, playing roles from a Shakespearian Witch Queen, to a precocious little girl, to a corpse. Now, she works as a graphic designer in Bloomington and lives in Prior Lake. She’d like to thank her mom for encouraging her to audition for Harvey. Thanks mom!

Since 2004, “Harvey” is Gail’s seventh play with the PLP. After a 42 year leave from the stage, she played Auntie Em in “Wizard of Oz”; wife of a “light-fingered” fellow in “Sleepy Hollow”; Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn in “The Music Man”; Mother Goose in “Fairy Tale Adventures”; a nun and the housekeeper in “The Sound of Music”; and Yenta, The Matchmaker in “Fiddler on the Roof”. She’s enjoying the role of Mrs. Chauvenet/Aunt Ethel in “Harvey”, as well as working with a super cast and crew. In real life, she is retired from teaching and loves and appreciates her family and friends.

Molly Blaeser is absolutely thrilled to make her PLP debut as Myrtle Mae. She has thoroughly enjoyed playing such a brat amid such talented, wonderful people. After a long hiatus from performing, John returned to the theatre in 2014 as Mr. Bumble in River Valley Theatre Company’s performance of Oliver! Since then he has been performing regularly with RVTC, most recently in a historical melodrama with the Players’ own Michael Sweeney. This is John’s first performance with Prior Lake Players, and he is thrilled to be in Harvey with an amazing cast, crew and directors. Jerry, a born and raised Prior Laker, began his theatrical career 43 years ago in 1974 as a sophomore at this very school (PLHS at the time) next door in the cafeteria (the auditorium wasn’t built yet). His first role? “Dr. William R. Chumley” in a high school production of “Harvey” directed by Ms. Arlys Johnson! She (and a certain “pooka”) inspired him to pursue theater and since that time he has been either acting, backstage or directing in over 30 productions from high school, college and community theaters.
