Dan Patch Days – June

June 22 – Parade Volunteers Needed

Save the date & plan to march with us at the Savage Dan Patch Days Parade!

A: Lineup begins at 10:00 am, however, feel free to come any time after 9:00 am to beat the rush. The parade begins promptly at 11:00 am.

A: In order to ease some of the traffic congestion that occurs in the staging area for the Savage Dan Patch Days parade, we are asking all participants to enter the staging area using the Highway 13 frontage road. Due to heavy traffic please try to avoid Quentin Avenue if at all possible.

Follow Highway 13 east or west to Dakota Avenue. Turn onto Dakota Avenue. Take an immediate left onto Highway 13 frontage road (123rd Street). Follow frontage road to staging area on right.

Follow Highway 13 east or west to Yosemite Avenue. Turn onto Yosemite Avenue. Take an immediate left onto Highway 13 frontage road (123rd Street). Follow frontage road to staging area on right.

Follow Highway 13 north or south. Turn on 126th Street (road winds around behind area businesses). Take a right at the first stop sign. Staging area is on right.

123rd Street (the street immediately north of Continental Machine) will be a one way only from west to east EXITING the staging area. There will be very limited access the staging area via downtown Savage or Quentin Avenue.

We will have several signs up to help guide you to the proper roads. The parade will end near 126th Street and Ottawa Avenue. Participants may exit by continuing east on 126th street over to Lynn Avenue.

A: Due to very limited parking in the staging area we ask that you carpool as much as possible. We will not be able to allow any extra vehicles in the lineup area unless they are actually in the parade. If you prefer to park near the staging area there will be some parking at the dog park located on the Frontage Road (123rd Street). Parking is also available near the end of the route. Please refer to the parade route for information on parking. Again, we cannot stress enough that parking is very limited so be sure to let everyone in your group know what options are available.

A: Please be sure that everyone in your party knows your lineup number. This will help to alleviate some of the congestion that occurs when people stop to ask what their lineup number is. We will still be there to assist with any questions you may have, but if you know your lineup number there is no need to stop by the registration area.

For 2017 – PRIOR LAKE PLAYERS IS LINEUP #43

A: We are happy to have your group perform during the parade. However, in order to keep things flowing smoothly we ask that you structure your performance in such a way that it does not cause big gaps in the parade.
