If you love getting on stage, or if it’s something that’s always been on your bucket list, audition early and often.
Most adults who get on stage have an absolute blast. Community theatre is a supportive environment, so it’s a great place for people new to theatre and a good way for established actors to keep up their auditioning chops.
Auditions for our winter 2024 production, A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol will be held on October 28th and 29th from 6:30-8:30 pm. Auditioners will only need to attend one evening of auditions and should fill out the registration form in advance (linked below), if possible.
Performances will be December 13-15th. Rehearsals will begin the week of November 4th and will take place on M-F evenings, though not all cast members will be needed every night. Roles are available for grades 3-10.
Auditioners will be asked to read very short nursery rhyme paragraphs. The number of paragraphs to read will depend on the size of the role the child wants to be considered for.
Auditions will be held at Twin Oaks Middle School (15860 Fish Point Rd, Prior Lake, MN 55372) in the Media Center. If parking allows, please park and enter through the upstairs doors near the main office.
