Melissa Cummings

Melissa has been involved with PLP since 2004, when she played flute and piccolo in the pit orchestra for “Paint Your Wagon.” Since then, she has directed the pit orchestra for many of PLP’s musicals, including “Grease,” “The Sound of Music,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Annie” and “Spamalot.” She has also directed or co-directed several PLP shows, including “Alice in Wonderland,” “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and “The Odd Couple (Female Version).” Melissa served on the PLP Board of Directors from 2005-2015 in several roles, including President, Membership Director and Publicity Director, and is excited to be back on the Board. In “real life,” Melissa is a proposal project director for a national health insurance company.
